June 16th, 2010

MyGolfingGoals Academy player, James Imai, clinched another victory at the US Kids Hartford Spring Tour Championship.  James had a challenging start to his day, but stayed patient, persevered, and played the last 3 holes at 2 under par after holing out a 25 yard pitch shot for an eagle.

This was James’ third win of the season on the Hartford Spring Tour.  With this win,  James captured Player of The Year honors - along with getting him a special invitation into the US Kids World Championships, which will be held at Pinehurst Resort in early August.

Eat All Your Pie!

November 26th, 2009

On behalf of MyGolfingGoals Academy, I would like to wish all a wonderful Thanksgiving Day.

In celebration of this wonderful holiday, I would like to offer all golfers out there a delicious pie. Yes, this is a bit on the corny side - but not if you’re trying to reach your true potential as a golfer.

Please check out the MyGolfingGoals Peak Performance Circle that I’ve developed. This is to help players understand that it is not all about the golf swing. Please make sure to incorporate a plan for 2010 that involves attacking each category of this circle!

Happy holidays!

Alejandro Soto Wins by 10 Shots!

July 8th, 2009

A congratulations goes out to Alejandro Soto for taking home his first ever US Kids Golf Tour win. Not only did Alejandro win, but he won in convincing fashion - with the next competitor 10 strokes back. Not to bad considering that “Alejo” has only been competing in tournaments for less than one year.

Great win Alejandro, as I’m sure there will be many more to come!
